Choose Model

1.Selection of two factors to consider, first select the damper, and second, choose to install the wire diameter. OPGW fiber optic cable into account the main technical parameters, such as tension, wind speed, terrain and other factors determine the selection of damper.

2.Weight choice:Theoretical formula Z=(T*M)1/2 【Z is the characteristic impedance value of the optical cable. This value is the model of anti-vibration. If Z>100, choose 4D-30. If Z≤100, choose 4D-20.】

3.Clamping diameter selection:The clamping path refers to the sum of the diameter of the cable and the double diameter of the skein in the tension clamp (or suspension line). If installed in the retaining wire, the clamping diameter is twice the diameter of the cable diameter.

4.1 determination of installation position:Install according to the requirements of anti vibration scheme.

Matters needing attention:

1. According to the calculation, if the calculated installation position of anti vibration damper falls on the inner winch, it is not necessary to install protective rod, and it can be installed directly.

2. If the calculated installation position of the damper falls on the optical cable, the protective rod shall be added, and the distance between the end of the protective rod and the end of the inner stranded wire shall be at least 50mm.

3. If the installation position of the damper falls on the outer stranded wire, it can be offset a little and installed directly on the inner stranded wire, but the distance between the center of the damper and the end of the outer stranded wire is more than 50mm.

4. damper head direction: the big damper head is toward the tower.
